What are some inexpensive places to go to that are warm in the winter?

I’m looking for a place to travel to, anywhere in the world, that is inexpensive (as far as food, lodging and shopping are concerned) and are at least tolerably warm in the winter (September to January). Any ideas? I’m thinking of places like Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.

Try the south coast of Turkey and North Cyprus.
North Cyprus is quite warm in September and October; 30-25Celcius respectively. Beautiful sandy beaches where you can swim and sunbathe. Delicious and reasonably priced food. You can have a 3 course meal in a lovely restaurant for about 10-15 UK pounds (20-30 US dollars). For the same price you can try a typical local tavern where they will serve 10-20 types of cold meze (appetizers), 3-5 warm meze, mixed grill of lamb, veal and chicken. Fresh fish with similar meze will cost much the same in seaside restaurants in Kyrenia and Boghaz (Famagusta). People are friendly. There are lots of historical sites to visit.
    p.s. Turkey could be cheaper.
You can fly to North Cyprus via Turkey. Turkish Airlines, Cyprus T. Airlines, Atlas Jet, and Pegasus all have flights from London to North Cyprus.
